Privacy Policy

Stripes ("we", "our", or "us") is a lawn care dispatch app for iOS and iPadOS. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Data We Collect

• Location: Used only for geofence job timers. Your precise location is processed on-device to detect job site arrivals and departures. Location coordinates are never stored on our servers or shared with third parties.
• Customer information: Names, addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses you enter for your customers. This data is stored on your device (Tier 1) or in your private Supabase database (Tier 2). It is not shared with or accessible by Stripes.
• Photos: Job site photos you capture are stored on your device (Tier 1) or uploaded to your private Supabase storage (Tier 2). Photos are not shared with Stripes.
• Contacts: Accessed only when you choose to import a contact as a customer. Contact data is not stored or transmitted beyond your device.
• Calendar: Used in Tier 1 to sync job schedules via a shared iCloud calendar. Stripes does not access unrelated calendar events.
• Device identifier: A vendor-assigned device ID is used in Tier 2 to associate crew devices with your account. It is not used for advertising or tracking.

Data We Do Not Collect

• We do not collect advertising identifiers (IDFA).
• We do not track you across other apps or websites.
• We do not sell your data to third parties.
• We do not use your data for marketing or profiling.

Third-Party Services

• Supabase (Tier 2 only): Provides the cloud database and file storage. Data is stored in your own Supabase project under your control.
• QuickBooks Online (optional): If you connect QuickBooks, invoice data is sent to Intuit via their official API. See Intuit's Privacy Statement.
• Apple Maps / MapKit: Used for route navigation. Subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.

Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as you use the app. You can delete all local data by deleting the app. To delete Tier 2 server data, contact us at the address below.

Children

Stripes is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

We may update this policy. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
